Honestly thou it looks like it will probably work for a boat load of eaters,,,,but I cant imagine what it would smell like,,,,it would probably gag a maggot.
Now if ya want strong smelling that will draw the channels in even up stream ya need to try "Earls secret recipe"
take about a quart of chicken livers seperated and pre cut to size and add a big handfull of powdered garlic, next add one of those little bottles of peppermint oil you find in the candy making section of craft stores and walmart and one bottle of anise oil......mix this together gently and let set overnight in a fridge then take em fishn
