I fish in a narrow river (50-60 yards wide) and was curious about what type of chum to use if any.

The river runs very slow at times and was curious to see what you guy's think would work and what equipment you would use to dispense the chum.

What about saving all the catfish guts and bones and all the cutbait scraps and bones and putting them in a toad sack and tossing it out near your fishing spot?
