Im in the market for a good castnet. i fish with my girlfriend and she actually does most of the netting while i drive the boat. I want to stay in the five foot range due to her being shorter and easier to throw but am not to concerned with the money as long as its not crazy high. has anyone else that has used several differant kinds found a favorite that is easier throwing than others or one overall that is your favorite out of the houndreds out there. we just started using one last fall and have a cheap one from wallyworld that has worked so far but im hoping to find one that may throw easier etc. thanks in advance!! id look at a gill net but they are not legel here in iowa

lots of easy throw nets on ebay.
the seller stores have every net made to man
the sky is the limit to how high you want to go

good luck...  I moved from a 5' to 8' using the same techniques I watched on here. I use the right handed finger drape method as opposed to the over the shoulder bite in your mouth fling... works well for me and my 12 and 13 year old boys. We learned in a couple of throws

I use about the same technigue throwing a cast net and was shown how by Dreadnaught who is a member on here also. I like the 10' size which is the largest you're allowed to use here in Ohio.
