I had been getting reports that the skip's were at the dams so I went to one of the local dams Tuesday and th skips are there. Even with no water running I was able to catch 15 all on jigs. I tried sabiki's and hooked one but it threw the hook. Went back yesterday evening  after work and the generators were running. Caught 47 skip's yesterday. Did'nt try sabiki's caught them all on jigs. Lead head colors used were white, pink and lime green. They were hitting all of them. Seen some other guy's catching them on yellow heads with yellow bodies. Heading back again today after work .

Right now the way they were biting I don't think it would matter. But all I use are white bodies don't remember the size but they are small curly tails. I usually use 3 1/8 oz. jigs tied about 12 inches apart but was having better luck tying 2 1/8 oz. and a 1/4 oz. on the bottom to get it down. As a rule the smaller the better I know a lot of people use 1/16 oz. I seen a couple that looked like they were throwing 2 1/4 oz. jigs with the bigger curly tails and they were using yellow heads and bodies.
