Robby, that is odd ive never seen a catfish with a wound quit like that before, looks like it was a fairly bad wound at one time. just goes to show how tough these fish really are.
we have a habit of catchin catfish here on the Ohio that only have 1 eye and quit a few that looked as if they had there back broken before, theys be as crooked as a politician.

Caught my first big Cat the other day nothing like what you guys got but I've finally hit double digits out of the lake here, and thats saying something since most people believe theres a "Catfish Curse" out there. 22# Blue and its my PB so far. Hoping to get one of those big boys one day. The previous weekend there was a 52# and 37# caught so I know they're in there.

I've heard stories about some bass fishermen carrying clubs for doing just that below the RC Byrd and the Greenup dams. They try to kill any catfish they catch because they claim the catfish are eating the young bass is why its so hard to catch bass in the river and they call cats, trash fish. I just think its their stupid inablitity to catch fish so they should be hitting theirself on the head for being and idiot in the first place. Those are nice fish Robby, thanks for sharing the pictures.

Those are some really nice fish guys. GREAT JOB. My PB is 42 pound blue on a 4 to 5 inch live bream. Sorry , no pic this was years ago. I believe this is what got me hooked on them. I am hoping to beat it this winter, being I have heard a many of good stories about the 3 lakes by my new place. I have seen pics of 30 and 40 pounders, and heard stories of some 80 and 90 pounders. Yes , I know how stories without pics are. Yet one can stil hope and search.
