I use my bait until it looks like all the juices are gone.

More often in warm water than in cold water thats for sure. I use the "look for blood" method as a guide too.

I will change mine every 15 to 30minutes depending on conditions (weather and current)!! This method has worked for me very well!!!
I really like it when I have to change the bait cause the fish on the hook either slung it off or ate it, LOL!!!

If I have plenty of bait then every 15-30 minutes I am changing bait and resetting lines in the hole Im fishing.

somewhere along the lines someone mentioned cranking the bait 5 turns every 5 minutes or so to disperse more scent. I like that idea and try to use it also. Hope it helps

Depends on alot.....   Do ya got plenty of bait? Lots of current? had a nibble? bad cast(not exactly where you wanted it)? Should change often if possible. actually, if you're not getting bites, move and get fresh bait out.

I go the opposite way and let out some line every so often.

i change every 60-90 minutes.  you dont want to mess up a good scent trail by moving bait.

Good bait leaves a trail of scent ad it moves.I move my bait about every 15 mintues, but only a few feet.
