what does everyone think about that tuff-coat non skid coating?

i want to replace all the carpet in my tracker with something like this!

i think it will be easier to take care of. the only problem i see is all the floor and compartments are not wood they are metal or aluminum... not sure if the stuff will stick to it o.k

what do you guys think....

right move or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I plan on doing that with my boat. Easy clean up after fishing. Just hose down. The only down fall with it is that summer time it will get HOT on your feet. I have sample it in white & still hot on the feet. . At lease the carpet Is not that hot. But it sure does stain up fast. I think if you prime it first then apply it. It just might stick to metal or aluminum. Try it out on a test piece first. To see how it works. Good luck.

i was thinking about the temp on the stuff.
my carpet is dark grey now and i was going to go a little lighter maby with the sand color...

my carpet is still in great shape but i was on the same page with the clean-up my son gets in it with muddy feet and it takes forever to scrub the carpet.

i was going to add 1 more drain it the bottom of the floor so i could just hose it out quickly.

are you going to paint everything in yours?

i was even thinking my console.

Was just think about the floor & side walls. When i fish we have SHAD all over the boat From front to back. Not good

the sample you have is it really non skid when wet.
or does it make it slippery?
i know there are a few diff. people that put this stuff out but not sure which to go with.

i have never seen a boat like mine with that stuff in it.the closest i have seen is the saltwater version of the ranger.

well i know where you are comming from on that one but i have alot going on right now and i really dont think i will even get to take my boat out of the driveway this year. the closest i come is hooking the hose to the motor and letting it run now and then.

that is why i like to watch out here at least i get to read about everyone catching them....LOL

it might be about march or so before i can pull it out of here and to the water.... :(  :(  :(  :(
