I like dead creek chubs {fresh} and catalpa worms. The chubs work great if there's no gar around :twisted:   Catalpa worms never fail me 8)

Around here I always had the best luck with fresh chicken livers, but got tired of hassleing with the leatherbacks (soft shell turtle).

if you have never ever tried water bugs try them they have a funny odor they love and if you just hook one towards the back end they will swim around looking natural and get nailed usually within 5 min if you dont get a bite in that time just recast and fish with a bobber so you can set the depth it works really well you have my word on that :grin:  :grin:  8)
