Jim  this is the cheaper 500 dollar one, not the 2,000 sonar one.  That is why I was really wondering for those who have it if it is really worth going up to the sonar one or not..
I never used fish finders before in the boats..  Willie has a pinpoint that was written in sometype of greek latin that only an engineer could understand and I ended up shutting the front one off and pulling up the trolling motor.  THe other boats, we go by reading the water the old way..  Time to get up with the times..

Yep that's the one I was refering to---it is gray scale not color,,,but color sometimes confuses you as to what your really looking at.  Next to the side imaging models it rates very high in my book.
