I had to go to my Honey hole and shoot some side scan Images of where I caught the 63lber last Sept and see what those looked like

The first one is from the bank looking out and the next 3 are from the channel looking back

One of the very interesting aspects in the las 3 pictures is the "staircase" of the mud flat on the right side of the pictures going down to the deeper water where the Jungle of trees, logs, and stumps are.

Is this one of those ink blot tests or is your fishfinder so good that it can send back pictures of the moon's surface?

Seriously, I don't see nuthin' :(

Hey thanks for sharing.......how are you liking the Hummingbird? Iam still running the Lowrance LMS 334c/IGPS, about two months after I bought mine the Hummingbird's with the side imaging sonar was just getting main stream, I haven't talked to many people who have them, just wondering how you liked yours.

It's awesome,,and I'm still learning,,,there is a Yahoo Group for side imaging---really cool stuff and lots of tips...the guys that run the group are a couple employees for Humminbird,,,so they got all the inside skinny and lots of tips

As for the "moon images" you''l see sunken logs and timber, stick ups, terrain features, stumps and the little white specks are fish.
