I was hoping someone could give some info on the rules for properly operating a VHF Marine Radio.It would be nice to read about the do's and dont's.  :grin:

Dont Holler MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY unless there is a threat to human life---Don't holler PAN PAN PAN unless there is a threat to property.  Stay off channel 9 and 16 except for the above reasons, Always reply to those calls  while monitoring....and never ever call the barge captain a wuss  :shock:
