Around here where I live finding anything for catfishing is a joke. All I can find is 4/0 which we have had straighten and broken. I am looking for a place on net or somewhere that I can muscle up for what ever is snapping our hooks. Any ideas?

I like the Owners in 10/0 for blues, but I also use Gamakatsu 7/0 and 8/0 for channels.

I still have a lot of them in my box GAMO 8/0 . Then it just got harder to get my hands on them. So i just change up. These or easier To get plus i like the hook set you get from them.

I get my Owner 10/0's from Har-Lee's tackle shop up in New Jersey. You can find his shop on Ebay and he is reasonable on the price.

it depends ..........if im going after channel cats specifically i use 2/0 to 6/0 Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hooks

if i am TARGETING flatheads i use 5/0 to 8/0 Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hooks.

You CAN get bulk hooks on ebay BUT be careful what you order some of the hooks  say "LIKE GAMAKATSU" .................id stay away from the knock offs and spend alittle extra mony and buy actual Gamakatsu's
