late last year i sold most all my catfishing outfits and bought 3 real good ones, i had 3 quantum cabos on ugly stik customs. great outfits and a bit pricey, well those where stolen from me out of my truck in a parking lot. since then ive been buying new outfits when the wallet allows. i was at a local gander mountain here Feb. and came across a muskie rod that was a Hvy action rated for 20-60lb line and 1-5oz of weight for $30,i bought one as an impulse buy and have since bought 4 more. they are awesome rods and so far this year have handled 2 blues over 50# and a hand full in the 20-30# range. ive paired them up with abu 7000s. so if your looking for ome great rods at a reasonable price and you have a gander mountain locally pick one of these up. they are worth the $30 and id gladly pay $50+ for one if they werent $30 :2wink:
