Alright this is a snell I kind of created. I took a bait loop snell used by salmon fisherman and made it stronger. I use this as my GO-TO snell because its the strongest one ive found.. but you can also use it to hold your bait if you want.



Thread the line though the eye
make a loop and hold it on the shank of the hook
wrap 8-10 times around the loop/hook
thread tag end through the loop you made
pull tight

last image shows the bait loop. If you dont cinch the knot down too tight you can slide it down the hook, slide in some liver or something that doesnt stay on the hook well, then slide the knot back against the eye.

Nice graphics.  I think people who cannot snell will be able to use this to make that nice connection.  Works super with Gamakat Circles.  They are deadly on big cats!
