we arnt talking about lipping a musky here. if their that darned scared to grab one by hand then stay on the dock. maybe i could see it if it was a kid just getting into the sport and getting comfortable but i fugure one of the adults in the boat should be able to help out the kids and still not need one. put on a pair of gloves!!!

Well I'm gonna tote our sponsors lip gripper --team catfish,,,,it does a heck of a job on fish up to 41 lbs without damage to the fish.  some of the others just dont open up wide enough for a big cats jaw structure and have the potential to damage them....after 40 lbs on a blue cat go with the gloves....while your ordering your fish grips from team catfish get some of their 8/0 circles---very nice and competitively priced.

How about neither since I have nerve damage and don't have full control of my grip I use a small gaff and have had no problems with it at all

I use a glove. I don't know if they hurt the fish or not since I have never used one. I do think they will wear out before my hand does
