I know Vince has started a thread simliar to this but but he asks about sinkers,i did not want to hijack his thread. what i would like to know is more about actually pouring your sinkers. what steps are needed and precutions do you take, lead tempts, how to clean dirty lead for pouring, etc.
I have poured lead myself in the past but never really got into it and would like to start because all the money ive spent on sinkers in the past few years i could have one heck of a collection of molds and pouring equipment and pouring my own will save me money in the long run.

What we're really trying to get going on here is a seperate forum For pouring lead.  Vince and I have talked about it thru pm's and there is just so much information that we could put out about it and discuss that any one single thread just won't cover it.  Like, I'm planning on buying another furnace here in the next month or so and would like to discuss the features on those.  That alone would be a long running thread.
