Anybody else out there like spoon sinkers. I have from 3/8 oz to 1.5 oz. I can cast my #9's about 60 ft with a 3/8 oz and around here that is plenty far for the most areas I fish.

papasmurf ...are you fishing lakes or rivers and what are you using for bait? those two questions typically dictate what weight im using.

thats prolly heavy enough then. the girlfriend and i mainly fish the mississippi and the absolute smallest we will use is an ounce and go up to 5 ounces depending on current and depth but of course its alot bigger river than where your using them at.
