I went to Gander Mtn. to take a pair of WVU crocks (shoes) back that my wife bought me and of course instead of getting a new size shoe I returned them for fishing tackle. I saw this Suffix Siege in 30lbs and just had to have it mainly because of the color (orange) weird I know but I just liked it. I have heard great things about it from bass fisherman but that was mainly about lb test up to 14 lbs. Does anyone know anything about this line?

I have heard good and bad reports about the Suffix line. Most of the good was from a guy trying to sell it to me  rolleyes I have heard from a couple catfisherman that it doesn't hold up to abrasions well. When you try it out let us know what you think of it.

That's what I'm thinking Doug, the problem is, is that she is marrying one of my good buddies and as much as I love to fish I would never here the end of it. Usually, I am one of those guys that wil do anything including fight with my wife for 2 weeks to go do what I want, but people only get married once(hopefully grin) and I guess I can always put off coming for a couple weeks.

We won't be staying there anyways, you can't get your boat in so we are gonna stay at Blacks and drive to the canal to put in.

We put in at Taw Caw last year once and we caught a 39lb flat head. There were gators everywhere.LOL. They were all around our boat that night while fishing, but know worry I had my pistol. grin There are only 3 of us coming down this year everyone is slowly backing out. Will you be at the creek house any in the next few weeks? We might just take you up on your offer if your not busy or are free a couple days. Anything would be better than staying in a small motel room with 3 men  :2stupid:. How much are the docks charging to put in right now? I figure a fortune.

Doug, I will let you know in a few days what is going on. My buddy still wants to go to Blacks so we can fish the canal, but I told him we can always drive one day and fish it from anywhere we stay. It would be great to get to fish with ya again (maybe this time we wont run out of gas and I wont get burnt like lobster cheesy :2stupid: grin). Did the water come up any with all of the rain lately? Or did the rain even hit y'all?
