I need at least 4 more bigwater rods. Too bad it would have cost me the money I would have saved buying the rods in gas We need a sale like that around here!

Looks like it went well at the sale. Wish I could have been there but got 2 more weeks till I head back down for good. Watch out next year though. Will be there and have money to spend.

Im sure there will be one wherever they relocate the redistribution center to. They gotta do something with all that stuff.I didnt take any pics of the stuff we got yet but did take 51 other pics that need to be sorted and put on photo bucket. I prolly wouldnt have got those contender LD's if they were reconditioned, but being new in the box I just couldnt resist! I've had my eye on em since they came out,but didnt want to pay $100+ bucks for one:2smitten: Driving 1248 miles to get them prolly offset any savings, but it was worth it to finally meet yall.

Just a note.....
I decided to google the Shakespeare Sale to see if they had anything about where a sale may be next year and came across the following...
A post on Charlestonfishing.com... It seems a member asked a simple question about if there would be a sale because of the closing of the distribution center. Well 20 posts later, it ended up being a bashing because one guy got indignant because the others were more interested in another sale rather than the fact that 150 SC jobs were lost......
While we all care about those jobs, as one guy stated, we also can't get into political aspects on that particular thread. It really caught my eye, mostly for the reason that while we chat on these boards and want to expand our fishing knowledge and learn about new products, gear and set-ups, there always has to be ONE person that takes one thing out of context and turns it into a bash fest.
But on another side note..others had posted they heard somewhere in Missouri and Pittsburgh was mentioned. If it's Pittsburgh, I can find out through friends there. However, I was unable to find anything out from Shakespeare websites themselves.......
