ive always wonderd what i would do if i caught a record and i have it all planned out just incase it ever does happen...id take all the pics i could at every angle, measurements and what not,tie it off somewhere and get ahold of my dad and have him bring his boat with the big livewell. my boss said if i ever do hook a record no matter what the time to call him and he would open up the shop so i could use the certified scales and he would bring his son as a witness as well...at the furthest location i fish the shop is no more than 30 min away, take pics of the fish on the scale and what not, take the fish back and phot and video the release and contact the DNR so all they have to do is examine the pics and check the scale..the whole prosess shouldnt take more than 2hrs at the very most. if any sighns indicate the fish is being overly stressed i will just release it and have my pics...thats what i would do for a world record...chances are itll never happen but hey i can dream cant i.

I remember all the hype of the catch of that fish. I remember that you were gonna donate it to cabela's , the only thing I haven't seen on here is the fact that the fish dies in transit to Kansas City Mo.
