I haven't doing any fishing lately due to the drought. The water levels have dropped way down. Down to the point where i can't drop my boat in my local river {Kentucky river} due to the way the ramp is made. We have not had any good rain here in weeks, but for the last 3 days it has been non stop raining. It is suppose to rain like this the rest of the week. This is rain that is well needed. I'm hoping to get out this weekend and do some fishing. I might even go out in the rain some time this week. Any good tips on spots i should look for fish after a real good rain.

We've had a little rain here for the last two days but not enough to put water in the creeks yet. The forcast is for rain the rest of the week. I'll probably go fishing this weekend, maybe on Dillon or Salt Fork which is a ways north of here.

Rain isnt and aint gonna do nothing for us for a long time. They are still letting ten times more water out of lake lanier than is coming in from the chattahoochie and the chestatee rivers. In a few weeks time the pumps at the damn are gonna be high and dry. They say that when this happens they are going to have to pull water from the "dead pool" of lake lanier where all the nasty stuff is and its gonna cost a fortune just to make this water potable. And we will need 2 to 5 years of above average rainfall just to get thing back on track. If I ever meet this girl La Nina Im gonna have some words with her thats for sure.  What cracks me up is the chattahoochie below the lake is full at all times and even above the banks at certain times and fish and game says they can do with less water coming down the river but that Governor in Alabama needs a swift kick in the behind. Keep an eye on the news cause this is gonna get really interesting in the next couple months
