Where's that reel abusing Tim  I handled 56 bruiser flathead with my Okuma 6500 avenger with ease,,is he still mounting reels onto rods with visegrips? |

Never said the reel wasn't good.
There is a weak link where the pin is through the hinged part of the handle. I have had two break in that exact spot. As far as power goes the reel itself will do the job.
