Last night was the worst night of fishing I've had in a while. I started out trying to catch some bluegill and my wife was with me, she caught 3 but I struck out. I threw one of em back because it was pretty small, thinking I'll catch plenty bigger. My wife took off just after that and I didn't catch another bluegill, tried for about an hour and a half. I decided to just go with what I had and since they were relatively small, I could only manage about one go 'round on my poles with em so I was disappointed. So, I move from the bluegill spot over to start throwing out some cat poles and I get a line in my prop. In getting my line out, I notice the prop nut on my trolling motor is split in half. When I remove it, it completely breaks. Me being the genius that I am, I figure that as long as I keep the prop pushing the boat, I can make it back to the bank and wont miss a prop nut. I start heading back, it's working great until I see something and shut off the motor. Just as I do, I realize my mistake and look back just to see my prop floating off into the water. Since I'm stuck with just an oar, I decide to just hook up my lights and fish from where I'm at. Everythings going good until about 20 minutes later when my battery goes dead... apparently it wasn't fully charged. So now I'm out in the middle of a lake (a smaller one, but a lake) with no motor and no lights at about 9 or 9:30. I start moving to bring in my anchor and paddle myself to shore and somehow lose my balance, over the side I go. I was able to slip back in the boat without flipping it, thank god, and went ahead and paddled myself in. When I got back to bank finally, I start hooking up my trailer and realize that somehow the safety chains seemed to have cut my trailer light wires and now I have no lights. I disconnected the trailer, moved it off into the bushes and left the boat in the water, anchored. I stopped by the convenience store on the way home and grabbed me a pizza, I needed something to comfort me after a night like that. I'm going back tonight, fishing from the bank though, and I had better catch me some fish or I'll be upset. But at least it can't be as bad as last night... can it?

Last night I had 6 raccoons run up on me and try to take my bait out of my bait bucket........

I tryed like hell to run them off but they didn't care at all.........

So I finally just thought, well I'll take some pic's of them.....

When the flash when off they started running, so I just kept taking pic's.............

It was one crazy night.............

I'll post them on here soon............

I'm getting ready to head back out.............
