I'll be on Burnsville lake trying to hook up with Shamooo the Killer Flathead this weekend,  I got goldfish, Israeli carp, and 4 big ol eels left over from my trips to the James river.  I plan on catching some green gills and other panfish for my fabled 20 pole spread   .  Half my poles will be slipbobber/ spreader rigged and half conventional slider rigged.  I've got my clonk and 30 lbs of rabbit pellets.  Bells and glowsticks for my rod tips and even put some 30 lb vicious on my abu 6500's for my play poles.  I've been preparing for a week and half to catch Shamooo the killer flathead

Well good luck Jim, a couple buddies are going to Burnsville this weekend but I had to turn down the awesome trip and head to Camp Branch where I go every Memorial Day weekend....we will put in near Meadow Creek and go down river a few miles until we get where we caught 27 last year in two days.....I hope this year is something like last year...just hope the weather cooperates!

All of these fish were tied up and released quickly for the picture!
