I managed to get the boat on the water today and pretty much missed getting rained on too hard.

There are a few issues to get right - steering trim tab, transducer position, etc...

I actually had to move the transducer on the transom to get it mounted a little bit lower.  The left side image is being blocked a bit so I'm not getting a proper image.  I've also got some ignition noise on the depth finder screen I need to work out.

I've also already managed to break something  When I floated the boat off the trailer, the bow hit a dock piling and broke the trolling motor prop...DOH!

yep steering trim tab around 4:30 position, I never did get mine to look left very well,,,so I just look right all the time. Ground everything,,battery, motor, dash, etc.  run additional wires if ya have to.  Is the noise problem on all frequencies or just some? Next check the spark plugs and make sure they are resistor plugs and not the common ones.  Just one scratch,,,,well maybe you'll drop a 3 lber and a fin will go thru the new vinyl seat  grin grin grin

Yea, I just gotta get the time to work it all out.  The noise is on the side imaging display when I throttle up a touch.  At idle and in forward it's just fine - 455 and 800.  83khz is pretty bad too.  I won't use it much anyway.  200khz is nice and clean.
