Lemme make sure I can have the boat rigged by then.  The boat will be on the ground at the Hampton Bass Pro the end of this week.  W.W. will be a last minute thing for me as I'll be in between business trips to Seattle and New Zealand AND will be trying to rig the boat at the same time.

If I can make it, I'll be there.  Count on that!

Yea, it's stock PGV17.  She's actually got a 28 gallon livewell so it'll hold a big cat in a pinch but it's not preferred.  I went with the Merc 90 Optimax over the standard 2 stroke for the mileage improvement.  Savings in fuel ought to cover the extra cost of the motor after awhile.

Cataholic's working with me to get a proper rod rack built.  The darn depth finder's on back order  tickedoff That baby's sweet.  Can't wait to get on the water with it.

Yep my 797 was back ordered last year for a month and half,,,I was going nuts waiting on it,,but it was worth the wait,,,you did get it with the maps built in didn't you?  After owning 4 or 5 fish finders one of the things you want to do is never trailer your bird especially in the rain---I gurantee it will loose its seal and the unit will fog up.  I take mine off after leaving the water and put it in the truck--havent had a problem since I started practicing that.  Yea kinda strange that fuel economy suddenly matters  cheesy when it takes 75 bucks to fill up your boat  tickedoff Did you get a top for the boat or is that coming later? How about a trolling motor?  Dont forget to get your fire extinguisher,  and all the stuff ya gotta have now that your in a bigger boat,,,those flares and things are expensive.

Yea, I definitely ordered the maps.  Gotta get the works.  Heck, my wife even said "just buy the 1197"  Told here I could do an extra grand for a few more vertical pixels.

Trolling motor and some of the safety equipment is part of the "package deal"  I'll be putting a vhf radio in it soon and a "stereo" for the wife.  If she was willing to let me buy the 1197, the least I can do is give here some tunes when she's aboard  angel

A top?  Don't know.  Gotta think about that one.  If would be nice to have some cover to duck into but I'm not very tolerant and it would come off the first time it got in the way.
