Thanks Doug. I'm told the boat might be in tomorrow. With luck I'll get 'er rigged and out for a spin this weekend.

So...when the boat didn't show last week like it was supposed to, we got to checking. Found out that it had not shipped from the springfield factory yet - because they were waiting on a motor. The store here had already assured us that motors were available and that they could install it when the boat got here. So we cried "bullshit" ship the boat! So they did. We got a call a couple of days ago that they were driving to Harrisburg to pick up the boat and we set up an appointment to pick it up on friday (tomorrow) at 10:00 am. My wife gets a call this morning. "The boat was shipped was shipped without a motor"... "Yea" we say. We don't have any motors available... (*^%^^&%^$ You can imagine how pissed I am right now. Who knows when they'll find a motor and when it will be ready!!

Since you haven't purchased it yet Scott,,,you might want to run up I64 to Stuarts draft and take a look at that G3 tunnel hull 1860 they got on the lot,,,,looks like it could run in 2 inches of mud,,,,I looked at the g3 site and the picture doesnt do it justice as the transom looks to be 4 ft tall, the console is shoved all the forward to the front deck. lots of room on the back for fishing. The website says it is a 90/65 jet,,but I swear that motor was as big as a 250,,,like 3 times the size of mine...but that could be one heck of a catfishing machine.

I think I'll be perfectly happy with the boat I bought Jim. Once I get it in my hot little hands anyway... Jets are a waste of horsepower and of no use whatsoever on the James...

After all the mess with getting the boat here and actually getting a motor on it - my wife is making them put a Merc 90 4 stroke on it. We might pick it up this weekend yet By the way - she's involved in the negotiation with BPS because SHE BOUGHT ME THE BOAT !!!! I need to take here to dinner.....
