Jon his wife Cindy and I fished the Tourny this weekend it was out of Blacks Fish Camp there were 31 teams and the automatic afternoon storm the water was way down which made for some interesting boat parking areas  cheesy we fished the upper Lake and got 2 blues and a couple of gar bites and some turtle action the Cattoon wasn't running right it would idle but as soon as you put it under a load it would quit made it interesting but we survived and it goes back in the shop tomorrow [Just my Luck] The Yeti livewell system worked perfect with the double bubblier system and the bilge pump recirculater system we kept the 2 cats alive and kicking all night till the weigh in we did have another storm roll thru about 2 am but it was worse on the lower lake and we just rode it out. the people fishing Lake Moltrie reported catching a lot of smaller cats 20lbs or less there were only a couple of cats caught over 30lb's so we were happy with our 2 blues I just wish they had waited to to get rid of all the mussel shells till after the weight in  tongue grin we ended up coming in 14th with 46lb's heres some Pic's Jon and Cindy have more pic's that we will add later  cool

Thanks for the report doug. 46lbs last year would of put you in the top 8 I believe with the same turnout. Maybe the new regulations are helping out some on the santee cooper system. I think those stroms shut the flatheads down really bad down there. Im glad I didnt go now. It would of killed my flathead bite. It happened to us last year. Nice pictures and congrates on the catch.

Dang I somehow missed the score board picture. I like that shot. Thornhill is always a good bet down there. Monty Hill does he own Hills landing? I seen that name before. Last years winners held off for 6th place I believe too. Couple of regular nccats catters in that tourney. I see the nc state record flathead holder was in the show at 18th place too. Heck they was even a yadkin master catter in the show at 10th place. Congrates to all.

Hey, he'll hit the flat water every now and again bigcatwannabe.  We've seen him up here a time or two.  He seems to be a pretty good fella', from what I've seen of him.
