I have been trying to get a hunting buddy of mine Dan and his son Mike to come fishing and finally got them to come over to the CreekHouse and he brought his Wife Lisa Son Mike and Daughter Kimberly we headed out Saturday around 10am and went to the Cooper hole and caught some perch for Bait then we headed out to driftfish the main lake the wind was shifting around like crazy and stopping and starting but we gave it a shot anyway Kimberly caught the first cat with a PB blue of 9lb's then her mom caught a 6lber then big brother Mike got a blue and that was it we headed in so they could rest up for some night fishing we headed back out around 7:30pm and we added my niece Georgie this was her second fishing trip ever and she was excited My Brother Jack had his boated loaded with his boy Chris and his wife Jessie and Chris's son Parker they were headed to one of my spots so we headed to the Jackson hole now we had some typical June weather it was messed up as a soup sandwich that mourning it was overcast and the wind was shifting back and forth 90 degrees when it was blowing then it cleared up for a couple of hours and when we were ready to go it was looking bad again but we decided to try it anyway we got anchored up and got the rods out then got out the bait rods to catch some more bait before dark now what do you think the odds are that on a 25ft pontoon with anchors out the front and back on 1/2 inch rope that the 2 11yr old female type children fishing beside the boat with bait poles with 10lb test could catch the front anchor rope  shocked tongue well they both managed to catch it one right after the other  tickedoff grin grin we had 4 of the 12 poles had the new triplefish 80lb chumline leader on them we wanted to see if they could help with the conditions as bad as they were we had several hard hits with some excited mishandling of the rods so we missed those then we had a good hit on one of the front rods with the chumline on it Mike grabbed the rod after setting the hook while Georgie reeled and what ever it was took them under a stump but it was fun to watch till then  smiley finally Dan caught a 7lb blue on one of the other rods setup with the chumline leader and then one of the rods in the back hammered down and Lisa set the hook and turned it over to Georgie who then reeled in a 17lb Flathead and she did a great job and that was the last bite of the night that we caught we had a small gale roll thru and the fishing shut down and shortly after we called it a night and here are some some pic's of our adventure  koolsmiley cheesy smiley
