sorry i havent got back to you sooner been real busy.    we fish  a few lakes up around here for channels, but for flats and blues we have been going to the st francis river, around marked tree, arkansas river from lake dardanelle to little rock, black river from pocahontas to jackson port- thats where the black runs into the white river.  we fish the other rivers up here we have 5 in our county alone  they is black river, current river, spring river, eleven point river, and one other i dont know how its spelt lol.     besides catfish we do alot of trout fishing  in the upper spring river.        This year being a board member of the Arkansas catfishing Association i am going to try and be at every tournament this year, so this year i will be fishing all over arkansas in many places i have never fished before.

Raymond Stansbury here...
Moved to Ar. three years ago and liked it enough to stay...just starting to be into catfishing and having a rough time making the change from salt/brackish water to fresh...
especially the deep water hydro-electric lakes around me (Hot Springs aria).
For now, I'm land bound (bank fishing)though occassionally someone takes me out on the lake on a boat, though the people who have, so far, have not been cat oriented...

Welcome Raymond. This a good site with alot of info. From what I can tell there is not a whole lot of Arkansas activity here though.
