hey guys I am working in decatur for about a month anyone help with some good fishing from shore spots ..I am near Hwy 31 and 67...thanks for any help

Sorry can't be much help I haven't fished in Alabama in years and that was in a reservoir but I know there is some good fishing up there    smiley

There is a boat ramp and some bank fishing areas down by the old pumpstation on 31.

We have caught some nice blues there.

really the job I am doing is on hwy 31 at lenwood rd just pas the hwy 31 and 67 intersec..Is the pump station close to that..also what about the wheeler wildlife refuge are there on hwy 67 just before the I-65 ramp at priceville? any help is greatly appreciated..Thanks

Dont know about the wildlife area.But the pumphouse is by the boatramp but not within casting distance from the bank but you should still do good there.

Just wanted to leave an update about mine and my dads (luv2fish) trip to Decatur. We caught one cat (about 1/2 a pund) but i caught my first nice hybrid or white bass and we had a lot of fun with some fish that we don't catch around our parts but sheepshead are fun =D
