No Jon,....I'm right in the middle of the state now....But I grew up in west central Illinois.  Most of the cats in my pics are caught here abouts locally.  I don't think I've ever been up on the Rock River that I can recall....Maybe with my grand dad when i was too small to remember.

That puts you right around Rolla then don't it?  I got kinfolks in Vienna in Maries county......If you got any good tips or spots to fish on the Gasconade....I'd like to put my young great nephew down there on a big 'ol flathead....so far he's only been able to see my pics....I kinda' want to give him a little closer look at one.... :lol:

Anybody have any fishing reports about Lake Mattoon, Lake Shelbyville, or Lake Newton?


The DNR page hasn't been updated since November, and I'm looking to get out this weekend.
