Dougs line instant plastic of rod holders . Inflate or fill up with weight. Nice I like that idea. And they would be cheap to mail out.

I took some trot line and tied some homemade hooks on one end that I can hook over my pole right in front of the reel, you can always find something to tie them around and they ain't goin nowhere and it's real easy to just slip the hook off when you pick it up.

You can also use milk jugs fill up with water or sand we do that it helps to  smiley
