Strategy is simple, catch two good ones and make sure they are alive at weigh in.  Now finding them two nice fish is another story.  The blues around here like to put on the afterburners and move around a lot.  They are here one minute and gone the next.  I had winning stringers prefishing a bunch of tournaments last year, but come down to it, I couldn't put it together, but my time is coming.  Ya'll just watch for me this year.  I'm changing game plans and putting on a game face.  We still got time before the tourney, so the smack talking ain't over yet.  There's still some big guns that have kept their mouths shut.  I got a freezer full of hot dogs and tater tots, so ya'll watch out!!

my biggest worry is the bait situation, i havent ever used perch for bait and havent ever had to catch them, so i gotta figure out the easiest way to catch those boogers

i got a lot of learning to do in 2 months, i dont expect to be in the top ten with all these great fisherman, i really just wanna meet you guys and get involved in this great thing you guys have

Gentelman don't get your hopes up too high. There only one person who's going to walk away with the first place trophy. The Master of the Yadkin. I don't think I need to remind you who that is. I'll give you a hint, he's caught more and bigger cats then all of you combined. I'll give you guys some good advise. The best baits this year has been marshmellows, popcorn and peantnut butter. If your two fish limit is below 80lbs, don't even bother bringing it to the scales.

well, i always heard if you cant beat them, join them, so i might have to do some bump drafting, shake and bake to the finish line  cheesy

you think all this rain this week is gonna help the badin situation?

Your right about that Buck. I would really hate hook a gaint flat or blue in a canoe.  I went to badin today just to look at the ramp. We need the rain bad. As for fishing, If Iam mistaken I SMOKED the entire group this past year for big fish.  Only one person came close to my fish. And that was Buck's friend with that 63lber. Remember this past year I caught a 52lb flat, 62lb flat, 63lb blue,70lb blue and a 75lb blue. The numbers speak for themselves. I hate to say this but most of you guys are sitting in pit-row spinning your tires. I see alot of smoke but nothing else.
