I found this on another board

Quote
I'm sure everybody has their reasons for getting involved. just look at the Master catters club or group, they have the WWP tourneyment.( wounded warrior project) these are people who like cat fishing who donate there time and equipment to help wounded soldiers from the Iraq war have a little enjoyment. It's not really about the fishing. It's about the offering to help somebody who might not generally be able to enjoy the sport of catfishing with their disabilities. how do you put a price on that?

Wow,,,that kinda makes ya feel warm all over  ;D

I had a good ol' time last year 'round, I was generally disappointed in the fishing at the point though. Unless things have turned a bit, I'd recommend going with a different spot. Nobody that fished at the point had a qualifying fish for the actual tourny last year. The one that I caught the night before was the only one I was aware of being caught that weekend there. The area was nice but it gave a huge advantage to the boaters who could follow the fish.
