Once again Master Catters will be hosting a Wounded Warrior Project Tournament at Stonewall Jackson Lake during the WV DNR's National Hunting and Fishing Days Celebration.  The event will begin Saturday evening and end Sunday morning with prizes for the winners and participants. All proceeds will be forwarded to the WoundedWarriorProject.org in support of our wounded hero's returning from the Mid-East

Whew its over,,,what lousy weather with a Noreaster going thru,,but we had 14 brave souls that sat in the rain thru the night,,they all appreciated the golf towels from my local banks for particpant prizes  grin  So here are the results:

Heavyfish and heavy stringer of 3 was Gary Sias from Weston with a single 9.28 lb channel cat he's going to Santee Cooper to fish with Doug
Second place with a single fish at 6.84 lbs was Jeremy Hoffman of Napier he's going to Burnsville with me next May
Third place was me with a two fish stringer of 6.76 lbs,,hell I didn't want to go fishing with me either  grin
4th place was Mike Greynolds of Clarksburg with a 3 fish stringer totalling 2.56 lbs  dont laugh guys it was tough weather
5th Place was Bobby Morrison of Clarksburg with a 3 fish stringer totalling 1.56 lbs hey that included his stringer, and my grippers  grin

Brace Fieldbusch drove down from Pa to give a talk about the wounded warriors and what they do and that was very much appreciated.

All total we collected $415 to send to the wounded warriors

Sorry no pictures as I was a one man show for the most part, but I appreciated the help from Mike, Bobby, Brace and others

It appears the DNR wants to take this event further and do a better job of publizing it for next year,,well lets hope

Sorry Jim I wasn't able to stick around and fish. It was good to see you and I'm glad you got some brave souls out there. No shovelheads caught>?

They got me on afternoon's and I don't much like that shift  angry
