My big cat25lbs

We just got back from a big trip on the New River near the billesby dam and let's just say it was 2 good days of camping. Fished in a great hole for some channels but all we caught was a 6 inch flathead. Some really nice shoals ran into a 20-30 foot swirl with several rock ledges cutting through it. I would have bet on 20 cats over two days but boy was I fooled. I use to be able to catch these things but I guess I forgot something important. Maybe better luck on the next trip. I'm gonna wait until the flatheads get fired up again.
